Do you want to work with HR in a broad administrative role and contribute to a value-driven organization? We are now looking for an HR Coordinator for our HR department at the Church of Sweden's national office in Uppsala. We offer a developing one-year temporary position, with the possibility of extension. Start date is immediate or as agreed.
About us
Working at the church office means being part of a national and international organization tasked with supporting the many activities of the Church of Sweden. We work across a wide range of professional areas, including HR, law, finance, communication, and education.
The HR department plays a central role in supporting managers and employees and creating conditions for a good working environment and development within the organization. We are now looking for an HR Coordinator who can contribute to our work by handling HR administration and supporting various HR processes.
About the role of HR Coordinator
We offer a developing one-year temporary position with the possibility of extension. You will have the chance to work in a broad and varied administrative role where you assist the department head and the HR area with various tasks. As an HR Coordinator, you will serve as an important support in coordinating and administering processes and projects. You will gain broad insight into HR work and handle both daily administrative tasks and drive and develop your own areas of responsibility.
Main tasks of the HR Coordinator
- HR administrative tasks, including record-keeping and archiving
- Coordination of meetings, processes, and projects within the HR area
- Management of managerial delegations
- Administer MBL processes
- Support in joint office activities
- Updating the employee and manager handbook
- Preparation of personnel statistics and follow-up

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience in administrative work, preferably within HR, who enjoys a coordinating role. You also have relevant education, such as in behavioral science or administration, or equivalent experience that can be considered comparable.
You are a structured and meticulous person with a good ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You have a service-oriented and solution-focused attitude and enjoy working both independently and in teams. To succeed in the role, you need to have good computer skills, especially within the Office suite, as well as a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You also have a strong interest in HR issues.
Meritorious, but not a requirement:
- Experience working in the non-profit sector or public administration
- Higher education or university degree
